Driver of the Month for January - Logan Mitchell

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Logan Mitchell and younger brother Mason made the trip to Daytona for some fun. That’s what we thought anyway. They actually were pretty serious and won the Saturday race. Logan had a clear win on Saturday and on Sunday when the race was started late and he started all the way in the back, he passed over 20 karts to get up to 5th. He probably had the fastest lap of anyone on the track and just needed a few more laps to real in everyone that got to start up front.

Logan will run the IKF Region 7 series. He hopes to follow in the footsteps of Braden Johnson that pulled off an upset by winning the series as an out of state driver. Logan will also run the Central States Super Series and several WKA Man Cup races. He’s got a very busy schedule and all the racing will certainly sharpen his skills. He’s got some top engines and new Tornado chassis so he’ll be ready.
